As a result of the difficult economic situation, the high level of construction activity on the German rail network and the price-driven decline in demand for intermodal transport services, the company recorded a year-on-year decrease in transport volume of 13.5 % to 665,981 shipments in the 2025 financial year, despite the number of operating days remaining unchanged. 3 % of the decline resulted from a reorganisation of transport operations in connection with Optimodal Nederland B.V. Transport performance, measured in tonne-kilometres carried, fell by 10.3 % to 13.35 billion tkm. Given this starting point and taking into account the transformation, Kombiverkehr achieved a satisfactory result in the 2025 financial year, with operating revenue of EUR 401,305k and a profit after tax of EUR 762k, in the view of the management.

At EUR 762k the net profit for the year is slightly below the forecast figure of EUR 927k, whilst gross freight revenue of EUR 11,220k is below target (EUR 22,800k).
