As at 31 December 2025, Kombiverkehr’s wagon fleet remained unchanged at 361 wagons of various types. The total mileage of these wagons increased once again to approximately 32.0 million kilometres, compared with the previous year (30.9 million kilometres). The efficient deployment and maintenance management, carried out under the responsibility of our associated company DIV (Dienstleistungsgesellschaft für Intermodale Verkehre mbH), has had a positive effect on equipment utilisation.

Kombiverehr had leased a fleet of approximately 1,150 wagons as at 31 December 2025. DB Cargo continues to account for the largest share of the leased fleet. Compared with the previous year, the total leasing requirement has therefore fallen slightly.

In addition to wagon dispatching and damaged wagon management, DIV has further expanded its repair activities at the Cologne-Eifeltor and Duisburg-Ruhrort Hafen terminal sites. Furthermore, various locations can be covered by a mobile maintenance team if required.

In 2025, the focus of wagon operations remained on efficient vehicle deployment and intelligent maintenance concepts.
